Please join us for singer-guitarist and Mining Engineering graduate student Joe Bourgeois at the first-ever virtual Concerts at the Library event.  A fan favorite at the Concert Series, Joe’s alternative sound is a combination of musicianship, meaningful lyrics and served up with a side of wry humor.  Per Joe, “I have played a number of shows for the Library Concert Series during my time at Mines, each one louder than the last.  I am honored to be a part of the first-ever virtual Concert Series and happy that the Library continues to promote music and art on campus.”. Joe formed a band called "The Landfill" and released an album this past June, just like everyone else with a microphone handy in their basement did. However, unlike Blink-182's new single "Quarantine", Joe's music was put together with care, compassion, and didn't leave the listener utterly disgusted. As always, Joe is thankful for Wendy and the staff that puts the Library Concert Series together and hopes everyone has a safe semester.

You can find Joe's music (The Landfill) on Spotify and any other music platforms. They can also follow the band on instagram under "thelandfillband"
