Mines Humanitarian Mapathon

Mines Humanitarian Mapathon

To celebrate GIS Day, Colorado School of Mines, CSU, UNC and CU are teaming up to host an OSM Challenge - a joint mapathon and "Map-off" with events in Golden, Fort Collins, Greeley and Boulder.

Volunteers will map infrastructure to support a TBD humanitarian mission …from the comfort of the Arthur Lakes Library.

The process of mapping in OpenStreetMap is easy, interesting, a good way to connect with other humanitarians, and a great way to help the most vulnerable populations on Earth. No experience is necessary to participate in the mapathon. If you can trace, you can map!
